For Customers
Organization
If you are interested and looking for API products or want to review technical documentation, you can do so without registering. However, if you want to subscribe to API products or submit a request to use them, you must register and create an organization or be invited to one. This will give you access to the full range of features in the Developer Portal.
Setting up an account in the Developer Portal and adding an organization is easy if you follow these steps:
- create an account
- create a new organization or be invited to one
Marketplace
The Marketplace in the Developer Portal is the main page where you can find all API products from different Providers. By selecting one of the listed API products, you will receive both technical and conceptual information about the API. Some of the API products on the Marketplace have sandbox systems for testing.
Searching and browsing API products as well as adding them to an App is made easier if you follow these steps:
- navigate to the Marketplace
- browse the available API products
- select one API on offer
- read the documentation and other relevant information
- add the selected API to one or more Apps
Apps
As a Customer, you can register multiple API products in one App.
The aim of registering services in an App is to use these services with the help of authentication at App level. Grouping the authentication enables direct access to multiple services in the context of a Provider. The App can also contain multiple credentials or API keys.
Please note, however, that you can only add API products from a single Provider to an App.
You can create Apps in different ways by following these steps:
- create a new App via the Marketplace
- if you have already found your desired API, you can add it to an existing App
- create a new App directly from the App's detail page
